BT Vancouver: Students Expelled For Pot Use On School Trip

About a dozen Chilliwack students have been expelled from school for smoking marijuana on an overnight road trip. One of the kids’ parents says such a severe punishment is a step too far.

BT Vancouver: Is This Punishment Fair Or Too Severe?

Eleven Sardis Secondary students admitted that they had smoked pot while on the trip, outside school hours. Only one student opted to lie about it but all twelve students were expelled. Was expelling the students fair punishment or is i too severe.
